Being a mothers of multiples I hear a lot,
How hard it is to survive,
How we all feel unappreciated,
How we are pretty much sacrificed,
I hear what us as mothers go through every day,
Feeling lost and lonely,
With no light to lead the way.
Each day I see how hard it is on others,
Each day I want to say "You are being a great mother."
For someone who had no experience,
To be blessed with not one,
But two or three or even four little lives.
Being a mother is hard enough,
Yet being a mother of multiples
That really takes someone with guts.
Now don't get me wrong,
I am not saying I'm special,
I'm not telling any mother,
She shouldn't be proud,
I'm just saying don't look down,
Don't look down on a mother of multiples,
Because she had a dirty faced child,
Or because she's a little dysfunctional,
Don't give judgmental looks because her kids are crying,
Instead of judging how about try smiling,
Instead of bad mouthing,
Just tell a mother of multiples
You are doing your best,
That's all anyone can ask.
For being a mother of multiples,
Is no easy task.
Instead of criticizing,
It's time to show the facts,
Every mother of multiples,
Deserves a well earned,
Pat on the back
