#repost @animal_rights_for_them ・・・ Isolation is hard mentally and physically. It’s drains our capacity for pretty much everything and we have a fear of losing what’s most important to us, our family and friends. We have a fear of losing our lives. We have the opportunity to change, to think about things more deeply, to think about our actions and our impact. At this point we can make decisions to help. Help the planet, help our people, help our animals. At this point we should be realising the horror we our putting our fellow earthlings through. Isolation for us is temporary, safe, clean, and painless for most of us. Yes, it’s boring, it’s unfair, but put it into perspective. Everyday, animals are slaughtered for human consumption, captured for human entertainment, beaten for human bets, kept in tiny cages for human amusement, jabbed with needles for human cosmetics, and they all die. None of old age. They’re depressed, they’re scared, they’re unhealthy and unhappy. Why do we let this slip through our fingers? Why should we let this happen? You can stop reading, you can look away, you can block it from your mind, but then again, looking away won’t EVER stop the suffering. It will protect you from feeling guilty or feeling upset and down, but you can do something about it. You can make change. By boycotting these industries, you can help mitigate further suffering. If we ALL boycotted these industries, they would fade away forever. No more suffering for these animals. No more mass killings, no more science subjects, no more bets on the lives of others. If we all boycotted these industries, the world would be a better place.
