doubt i'll work on it again any time soon but i do think its hilarious that the premise of boy burning came full circle back to the mines being the main antagonist

brain just keeps ping ponging chapter titles for a book i havent started because i havent finished the first one (never will)((dont care)) but the titles are just CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? and LOST and WAKE HER. the capital letters are imperative. honestly narratively speaking they do also fit the first book but alas. they are loud. The Girl is loud. she haunts the first narrative that isn't hers. she vanishes from the second narrative that is hers. she's lost, she's found. she's been playing hide and seek for 30 years. she's here but is she really. she's alive but what does that mean when you're dead. what does it mean to be alive. what is it like to be alive. to be awake. the girl's sleeping. the girl's waking. can you hear the girl. the girl humbly requests a baja blast.
