Understanding all the forms used by the IRS and employers can be confusing and little like reading from a bowl of kids’ alphabet soup.
There’s 1040, 1040EZ, 1040, 1098, 1099, W-4, W-2 and the list goes on and on. Now, if you’re an IRS encyclopedia or a tax specialist, it might seem like no big deal to keep track of all these forms, numbers, and letters.

“It’s CAT kent!”
BEATING THE DEAD HORSE #1, LARA’S THEME (MINUS WOODEN CLUB/STICK); Fall/Winter 2002 (and ongoing); 19″x 16″x 9″; street refuse from 2 year’s worth of walks in Southwest Florida, our old shower curtain, found music box guts (plays “Lara’s Theme”, a.k.a. the theme from “Dr. Zhivago”), sisal, string, upholstery thread, paperboard tube, found wooden shovel handle (honed), black tape. When I happen upon another music box I will present BEATING THE DEAD HORSE #1, LARA’S THEM, WITH WOODEN CLUB/STICK. I will wind its music box. I will let it play for 1 complete music cycle. Then I will wind it again and commence beating the dead horse until the music can no longer play. I will continue to keep rewinding and beating the dead horse until the music will no longer play. Then I will surgically remove the inoperable music box and replace it with the more recently found music box. Once it is secure I will wind it and let it play for 1 complete music cycle. The title will then change to BEATING THE DEAD HORSE #2 (THE TITLE OF THE MUSIC OF IMPLANTED MUSIC BOX WILL GO IN THIS SPACE). The inoperable music box guts will then be presented as BEATING THE DEAD HORSE #1, LARA’S THEME. This process will continue until I am no longer responsible for THE DEAD HORSE...2014, elastomeric and house paint added.
