oh, he definitely did stuff with the synthesizer. he did a song called "Temporary Secretary". i'd really recommend it to anybody.

on one hand, I intentionally write Arthur as allistic in my fics because I like the idea of depicting an allistic person who will never be wired the same way as their autistic friend/partner but who makes an effort to understand them and accommodate them (and does a great job of it).
on the other hand, I am more than capable of holding multiple headcanons at once, and one of them is, in fact, autistic!Arthur so we're on the same page there!

Ah, realized right after I sent the ask, but I think Arthur would like the talking heads a bit (if only because their music reminds him of Ford) though I'm not sure if that's accurate to the time period eheh -Bowie Guy
Talking Heads's first album came out in '77 and the radio version of H2G2 came out in 1978 (before TH's second album later that year) so no matter what version of H2G2 you're taking in, at least one Talking Heads album already exists.
