For a few months now, Nick and Avery had been spending a lot of time together, feeling each other, learning as much as they could about the other, things that weren’t known by everyone that they were friends with. Of course, things had developed to more than just a typical friendship, with the obvious sexual tension that they had developed early one, however, Nick didn’t want to be defined by who he was in the bedroom, and that was one thing about Avery he enjoyed. The two could just sit on top of a roof and talk, or lay in bed just watching television without any ulterior motives. So, when he found out that her Birthday was a few days after Halloween, he had made plans for them to have the weekend off from house shows just so he could give her a surprise party, even if it would just be the two of them.

The stubbornness that Avery demonstrated was the exact reason he found himself so pulled to her, so attracted. She didn’t make things easy for him and the challenge was half the fun. This thing between them had become probably the most fun he had had in some time, since most of his time lately had been devoted to his stand-up comedy routine, that is when he wasn’t wrestling.

Since moving up to the main roster, Fergal hadn’t had many chances to celebrate America’s Independence Day, so when Luna invited him out for festivities it was well received. When he was still in NXT, everyone would just gather up and have a huge pool party before shooting off fireworks that night. Not to mention, with him constantly grinding, whether it be working or working out, it was a nice change of pace.

Once night time came and the blanket that the seamstress brought with her was spread out on the ground for them, the two huddled together as the fireworks began to light up the sky. If he was honest, her reactions were probably the cutest thing he’d ever heard. As it approached the finale, Fergal turned to face her, planning to ask her a question, however everything left his mind when suddenly a pair of unfamiliar lips were placed against his in a soft kiss. Though it was short, the Irishman reacted out of reflex by returning the sentiment just before she pulled away. Did that really just happen? He couldn’t believe it himself, even though he had felt it. In a way, it was a refreshing, seeing as he hadn’t even kissed a female since he and Cathy had broken up nearly two and a half years prior, but that was because he was constantly busy.

Her reacting to kissing him was actually rather cute, however. The way she was grasping for what she wanted to say while stumbling over them? He couldn’t have imagined it happening any other way. “No reason to apologize, Luna. I mean, you’re a helluva kisser, if we’re being honest.”

Fergal’s twitter, instagram, and his phone had been blowing up like crazy ever since his surprise heel turn on Wednesday night. He felt like none were more surprised than Luna, considering she had been by his side ever since the night under the fireworks. The two had made this an official thing during his sabbatical from the company, which was where the rumors he had gotten married spawned from, when in reality, he was simply dating somebody for the first time since the break up with Cathy.

If he was honest, it felt amazing to be the talk of the wrestling world again, but not only that, something changed in Luna afterwards. Was she mad at him for not telling her that Paul had approached him and Johnny about the heel turn? It wasn’t like he changed, if anything he still smothered her in kisses and affection as per usual.

It wasn’t often that Tyson made his way out to indie shows, not unless he was booked to be there. Tonight, however, he had decide to make an exception. What he had told Matt, Nick, and Cody was a scouting trip was anything but, if he were being honest. In reality, he just needed to get away from the constant goings and take a break to breathe, something he hadn’t done since signing his EVP Contract with AEW.
