The stranger hummed, returning to perch on the chair, face in his open palm, at rapt attention.

Steve felt his cheeks heat, a little late, and tried to remember the man's speech. "Tell me your name, again?"

He smirked. "Edwifkin, but you can call me Eddie. Any of my other names would make your little human brain explode."

Steve gulped. "So, you're not?" There was a beat where they stared at each other. "Not, um, human?"

Eddie chuckled, "No, sweetheart, I'm not. But that's fine, right? This, uh," he gestured down at himself, "visage is what you wanted me to appear as. Well, with my own style added in."

That made even less sense to Steve, but he could agree the look worked for him. Big dark eyes with long lashes, long dark curly hair. Black jeans and a dark red and green flannel button down, but the tears across the denim and the rolled up sleeves showed off swoops of ink across his pale skin.

"Yeah," Steve breathed. So he had a type, sue him. Speaking of, "Um, Eddie? If you're not human, does that mean, well, can you still …?"

Unable to find the words, he instead gripped himself, staring pointedly at where Eddie's legs were spread in his tight jeans.
