working on ao3 x tumblr fanart bc im devestated.
i thought a "arms tonight" animatic would be... very fitting lol (given the circumstances) but then realized i had actually no idea what the scenes would be bc. theyre literally just 2 websites. not a lot of story.
so i present to you (losely based off sherlock holmes, a million sci-fi plots, and 90s tv): the AU.
the two are detectives investigating and tracking down "bots"
the bots are wild robot creatures hinged on destruction, no ones sure where they come from or whos making them.
ao3's the main detective and tumblr's a beurocrat that tags along to keep ao3 out of trouble, and administer amature repairs. (and later becomes ao3's cringe fail girl/boyfriend)
ao3's done all her own repairs/updates since before she met tumblr and she tends to down play her injuries
anyways, hows this tie into "arms tonight"? ao3 keeps getting injured on the job and requiring more and more heavy repairs. its very much a wheres the line between human and robot story.
(unrelated but a good follow up animatic song would be "artificial heart")
