Ok. So my kiddo and I had plans to watch season 7 together yesterday. I woke up before him and couldn’t help myself and started early. He woke up a few hours later and I switched to his account and said, “Watch to episode 10 and when I get back from running errands we will watch the last three episodes together.”

Kiddo says, “Ok.” and heads off to his room to watch on my iPad. I leave to do my Adulting stuff which ends up taking longer than I thought it would. I get home. My son says, “Mama I finished watching. “

I look at him. “You turd. You were supposed to wait and watch the last eps with me,”

My son an intellectual says raising his eyebrow, “Well you were supposed to wait for me before you started,”

My reply is while looking at the sky, “ Well played Mama. I see your sass in my offspring more and more everyday.”

I look at kiddo and say, “Fine you’re forgiven.”

Kiddo heads to his room but says, “Hey Mom. By the way Voltron wins in the end.”

I groan,

Even though I mean they have to win right?

Well cue The Paladins taking the ROBOBEAST up in to outer space like the self sacrificing heroes that they are. Keith says, “It’s been an honor to serve with you all.” And ROBOBEAST goes BOOM.

I start crying and yelling, “NO NO NO NOOOOOO NOOOOOOOO.”

My son comes into the living room and cuddles up next to me. You see all five Lions on a stage. Shiro is giving his speech about those who sacrificed themselves to save earth and I see no Paladins. I’m UGLY crying at this point. I look at my son and say, “ You said that they won.”

His reply, “ I never said they LIVED.”

I look at him and say,

While I am full of righteous indignation, the shot on the Lions pans out and I see Hunk ALIVE AND WELL. I look over at my son and say,

He gets up and says, “ Mom you’re always saying no spoilers.” Shrugs and walks away. All I was thinking at this point was,
