I will say race and class has so much to do with how you and your smell are perceived at least by certain kinds of people. I could have my most expensive and luscious amouage on but if I’m like working a service industry job or sweeping something up at work someone who otherwise would love the smell would think nothing of it or perceive it as cheap trash. Also if someone thinks ur fugly they’ll prob not give a damn what u smell like. Some of us have open minds and can recognize beauty wherever but for the most part ur scent will never convince anyone anything other than reinforce what they already feel. Which is why I wear whatever I want if u hate it it’s bc u probably already feel some type of way about me and want me to be caged and beaten underground in the sewers
