Rosario Dawson is joining The Mandalorian season 2 as a live-action version of Ahsoka Tano
Once again, BossLogicInc predicted Rosario Dawson’s role as Ahsoka Tano. Or the casting crews made their decisions based on this fan art in 2013.
Since The Mandalorian is set after Return of the Jedi, I’m curious to see how the story of her character unfolds.
Last we heard from her was in Star Wars Rebels. After the Battle of Endor, Tano joined Sabine Wren in her quest to find Bridger and bring him home.
I’d lose my mine if we were to actually see a live action Sabine and Bridger in the show. Saw rumors of Tao Okamoto eyed for the role of Sabine. Hm...
At this point it’s only rumor as we don’t even know if Sabine will appear.
Back to Ahsoka, her voice was heard by Rey in Rise of Skywalker can only mean one thing, Ahsoka will die. Otherwise, she would’ve been The Last Jedi.
Come to think of it, it would’ve been very emotional. Ahsoka fought her long time friend and mentor, Anakin turned Vader. And years later she fought Kylo (Anakin’s grandson) and the man who ruined them both (Palpatine). Ahsoka allied herself with Bail Organa and now she meets his daughter, Leia.
Damn. A lot of missed opportunities for a better sequel. Let us hope, The Mandalorian is able to do justice as it has for the first season. Am curious to know Ahsoka’s story in the next season and her role to Baby Yoda. But if Ahsoka pass her teachings to Baby Yoda, shouldn’t he be the Last Jedi?
But why did Luke not know about them? I have so many questions.
