I'm currently in a bit of an awkward situation, my boss is leaving in two days and to be perfectly honest we've not really seen eye to eye much since I started. Now I know all bosses can be difficult but when you're in a situation like me with bo confidence or self worth, having a bitchy boss is not fun. Admittedly the last couple of days she has chilled out and we had a major heart to heart after I was admitted to hospital last week, she was genuinely scared for me and my family. The thing is, because the other two people we work closely with are off, I've been given the card to get signed. Now before anyone judges, I have no problem with sorting these things out for her. I got her a present and am helping choose the group present from all of us. The thing is, I'm not the only person she hasn't always seen eye to eye with. The list is pretty long and I just had to ask someone who I'm close too and know doesn't like the boss to sign the card and it just felt so awkward because we both knew he didn't want to do it! Wish me luck getting the rest of the staff to sign the card tomorrow!
