I know as a society we love a good juicy story. But lets be honest we often hear speculation and not facts. It does impact how we perceive others. Let me deal with this. Keep Your mouth shut. If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. Gossip in the workplace causes mistrust, questions of loyalty in the work place, and sometimes it impacts the reputation of the person who spreads the rumor. People have lost jobs and careers over being the source of rumors or gossip. It's in violation of our morality clauses in most businesses. Gossip is never cool or fun, it's cruel disrespectful and can impact your brands future and your integrity. As Entrepreneurs, we are own CEO and PR secialist. Is that what you want to project? Is that what you really want to a person to remember you by? Now don't get me wrong venting is healthy when it's with the right people. But at work or when it comes to business it's not venting, its gossip, and it can do damage. So be smart and think before you speak. #Bossfacts #brandbuilder
