me and a friend loved your answer for Palo rosa & Araucaria, and it even sparked an interesting talk about the trees in our area so we’d like to ask about your take on Palo Borracho (Ceiba specioza) and Borrachero (Brugmansia alba) woods, if that’s ok with you nwn
Its always ok with me - hell people sending in wandwoods too do, frequently points out woods I should do for my giant guide that I’ve overlooked! So:
Palo Borracho - Ceiba speciosa
Also called the Silk Floss Tree, Palo Borracho is a lively wandwood, and one which is known to have a mild but distinct inclination towards Seers and Healers. Such wands also are linked to survivors, and it is said that no one who could have been saved has ever died at the end of a Healers Palo Borracho wand, with even untrained wixes with this wandwood often able to cast surprisingly powerful healing spells.
Borrachero - Note: I could not find Brugmansia alba, but Borrachero is apparently Brugmansia aurea, about which little is known, so this is based on all Brugmansias.
Another wandwood with healing tendencies, however due to the smaller size of Brugmansias (much like with Daturas) this wood is more commonly seen as a detail or secondary wandwood, rather than a main. While it is skilled in healing - most especially at reducing pain - it tends to seek mediators and diplomats rather than people who are necessarily healers.
