Culture of light

Euroluche is  the biggest international exhibition of lighting, which is held in Milan every two years. Participation in 2017 takes 450 brands.

Euroluce is the expression of centuries of Italian tradition for the harmony of things done well. The designers and architects that work in the design department and at Studio In Project are committed to conveying shape to light, often anticipating style trends, with a creativity that enhances its formal rigour. The exhibition area is 38,000 square meters. m, which will bring together 450 of the best international companies-exhibitors. If the collections pulse with light, if light goes beyond being a technical element to arouse emotions, if light fittings are ambassadors of beauty, if suspension lights, wall lights, standard lamps and spots have a soul, then it is to them that we must be grateful. People around the wold that works in light industry came to see the technical, design and practical innovation of 2017.

Light of Italy adds another exciting chapter to its history of achievements: the company starts the production of artisanal lampshades for its own collections and for those who demand high-quality, customised lampshades. Producing a high-end, artisanal lampshade requires cleverness, experience, precision, knowledge of the materials, creative skills and attention. Euroluce – Light of Italy employs skilled lampshade crafters and seamstresses with extremely valuable experience who have refined their techniques in long years of acclaimed work. Entirely crafted by hand, each lampshade stands out thanks to exquisite fabrics and quality materials, its refined elegance and harmony, the effects and the atmospheres it manages to evoke in the spaces where it is situated. 

German designer Ingo Maurer became famous for original lamps of organic forms: his works resemble flocks of birds, bouquets and rain clouds. A lamp made of paper Moonati, presented at the exhibition, is similar to a shell.

Another idea of Maurer is the lamp Blow Me Up. Light comes from an air-blown tube, and the lamp itself can be put, suspended or simply leaned against the wall.

«The Mobile Chandelier 13» of designer Michael Anastassiades is clean lines, classic shapes and perfect balance. It will look great both in lofts and in neoclassical interiors.

The luminaries of Boris Klimek for the Lasvit brand are reminiscent of translucent sweets. They are called - "Lollipop", «Lollipop".

One of the most fashionable ideas is a ring with illumination. In the Circus Pendants fixture of the New Zealand brand Resident, the elements are connected in a chain reminiscent of the hoops that circus acrobats use in the performances.
