With an intensive creativity over many years Bućan has made his mark on the concept of posters and his perception among the public and future generations. Bućan’s artistic work started in his student days when he made his first posters for the Student Centre in Zagreb and the Gavella Drama Theatre. In the 1980s he made large posters with a very dominant artistic character which with their drama and presence grabbed attention and significantly changed the look of public space in the city. Art posters for theatre performances, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events were printed using the silk-screen method.
