I never wanted to be famous or get any sort of recognition for my person or my personality; it has always been for my work. There's something that bothers me intrinsically about social media, but it's just expected of you now. It's almost part of your contract. But that's not what I'm selling. I don't want to sell anything.

I enjoy flitting around between hair colours. I find it fascinating when people think I’m naturally blonde, as I’ve only been blonde for about two seconds. People pay more attention to you as a blonde; it’s also easier for people to assume you’re a ditsy young actress. Of course, I am a ditsy young actress - well, maybe not ditsy.

You know, I’ve always wanted to play such great characters from literature having grown up reading a lot of these books. I guess it was just karma that the opportunity to play these fantastic roles all came at once.
