Yo dude, I haven't stopped thinking about that 'Troy is hosting the Destroyer' post since I reblogged it, so here's some fun spitballing.

The concept posters gave Troy cloudy white eyes, right? My immediate first thought was "oracle eyes." Well, oracles have visions, yeah? And we have other-dimensional things happening with Eridium and the psychos...

Maybe that was a hint at Troy being able to see into whatever dimension the Vaults and the Sirens are connected to? Or maybe he was originally blind and I'm reading too far into this. But that's what we're here for, so fuck it, let's reach.

Catch me imagining his eyes going white whenever he gets an energy boost.

What if the ponytailed, gas-mask girl on the Mask of Mayhem is a younger/half sibling to the Twins?

Mouthpiece refers to Tyreen as "the first sister" and the only thing that implies to me is 1) oldest (kind of funny because twins) or 2) not the only.

We've seen similar characters in promo art that closely resemble the mystery girl, but at least one part of their appearance doesn't match exactly. Maybe they're emulating this secret sister like some of the other cultists emulate Troy with his tattoos?

With some things folks have been saying in the game (and the fact it is definitive that Handsome Jack is not the antagonist)... I've got an odd thought about the new Borderlands game. What if the primary Vault Hunter is going to be... Lilith.

I mean, think about it. Lilith had lost her power for much of Borderlands 3 (spoilers? Though given that a lot of you don't like BL3 I doubt that matters) and regained it at the very end... it could be that the end of BL3 was Lilith creating a portal that transported the moon Elpis to another galaxy.

The moon appears above a new world, rather than Pandora, and immediately hits a ring system around that world. And Lilith is thrown to this world (along with a bunch of Borderlands folks because you just know that moon is crawling with stuff) which is how we end up having a bandit mask show up on this new world.

No doubt the first thing that happens is Lilith encounters the enemies of this new game, and possibly The Resistance or whatever they are, and this crew would be the new Vault Hunters. Lilith would reprise her role as Siren and after having burned through most of her power resources teleporting Elpis to this new region, have to regain her skills even as the new Vault Hunters likewise start advancing in skill as well.
