tinhearted asked I Look Strange
Raven couldn’t help but cough as a peculiar green colored smoke filled the vacant chemythry lab as the vial that she’d accidentally knocked over had managed to clatter to the ground. ‘Talk about your fairy fail,’ she thought wondering just what the vials contents contained.
Coughing some more, a figure soon began to be visible just inside the doorway….a fairy familiar figure as it was her own. Blinking as if to see if she’d been seeing things she felt a strange tingle as if she wasn’t herself at least not physically.
She soon felt as if she’d been closer to the ground, limbs stiffening up a spell. “Something is fairy wrong,” she spoke….however she wasn’t speaking, at least not her voice as Boq’s voice began to fill the air. It was then that Raven noticed that the figure in the doorway wasn’t her reflection as she could see her reflection through a file cabinet and that reflection was of….
“Boq?” Raven asked in a low tone looking toward the figure of the purple haired princess.
Boq very nearly dropped his phone in the middle of the canteen as the little message symbol flashed on screen. He very nearly squeaked. He looked like he might faint. Instead he froze, eyes wide, as if any sudden movements might banish this wonderful mirage, and stared.
She…she had hext’d him back!
Fumbling awkwardly with trembling hands, he managed to open the hext and stare in awe at the simple reply. Girls never messaged Boq back. Who wanted to speak to a boy who clanked when he walked and came up to one’s chin? In truth, he had only messaged Apple in some quiet desperate hope of recognition. In truth, the snow scared him almost as much as water, and he had watched the recent flurries with growing terror. But he would gladly wade through a mile of snow to talk to Apple! H-he hadn’t expected a reply! This was…t-this was…
Abandoning his lunch, Boq lept from his seat and practically floated out of the canteen. Apple had said 20 minutes, but Boq couldn’t wait that long! H-he would get there early! He would…Oh Oz; how did he look?
Raven felt a little bad for answering Apple’s hext however she was bored out of her mind and thought that it could be fun. and perhaps he won’t be freaked out by me,she thought as she slipped on her warmest cloak and boots. Making her way toward the towers she spotted the boy there and took him in for a moment before she took a step toward him.
“Boq,” she greeted in a friendly tone catching his attention.
