12. Tea or coffee?  Coffee, definitely.  I have tried really hard to like tea, because it is a cheap and comforting drink, and at one point I was the only non-tea-drinker in a group of friends obsessed with tea.  The best I managed, drinking it on a regular basis, was a little more than tolerance.  So I've given up.  I like chai, but that's it.

15. What music have you been listening to the most lately? Fanmixes on 8tracks . . . I love them because I don't know much music and I don't know where to start looking.  I've found a lot of really great groups and songs this way.  I also got really into Fun. a couple months ago and basically memorized most of the album Some Nights over about 3 weeks.

29. What do you notice first about another person?

Hair. Or else sense of humor. Or a bit of both.

41. What would you imagine as a "perfect date"?

I'm pretty easy (double entendre both intended and unintended). Probably dinner -- something relaxed, not too formal -- and going to see a show (either in Chicago or in New York, or, hell, if we're going all out, London). And then getting semi-drunk and having loads of sex.

"She's Got A Way" by Billy Joel. Followed very closely by "Hey #3/Perfect For You (Reprise)" from Next to Normal.

33. What words make me feel the best about myself?

Probably anything complimenting my writing. Given that there is very little going for me at the moment, it's probably what makes me feel best, and the absence of which makes me feel worst (my ego is a cruel, cruel mistress like that).
