Merel, ''Wonder Woman'', #3, 1978 An Argentinian bootleg comic that was based on the Lynda Carter 'Wonder Woman' television show that aired on ABC (first season) and CBS (second and third seasons). I have no idea who the cover artist is outside of the name 'Merel'.

Japanese Doujinshi and other Modern Bootleg Comic Books!
This is a presentation that I will be hosting at the 2025 Boise Comic Arts Festival at the Boise Centre on the Grove Downtown in Room 120B on Saturday August 30th at 3pm. It is a FREE EVENT so please stop by.
Doujinshi is the Japanese word for self-published, unlicensed comic books produced by fans. These works are usually based on popular mangas, television shows, American comic books, and movies. There are thousands of doujinshi conventions in Japan each year. Now there are some American independent comic book artists that are getting in on the act. We'll look at and discuss a few examples from both countries.

Idaho Doujinshi Mixtape #4 (2025)
(γ’γ€γγε· εδΊΊθͺ γγγ―γΉγγΌγ) This comic book made its premiere at the 2025 Boise Comic Arts Festival (August 30th, 2025). It featured an article on Japanese Doujinshi and Other Modern Bootleg Comic Books, a 6 page doujinshi featuring Machine Man and Krypto, the Super Dog, a bunch of short stories, a new Justice Guy story (1st appearance since Tarzan and the Comics of Idaho #3), a letter from Steve Ditko to Albert Asker, and an article and photo of some never before published Dave Stevens artwork painted on the wall of a fan's house in Boise. The following characters made their 1st appearance in this book: Dr. Shane Wheeler, Barbara Wheeler, Dr. BakhargΓΌl Seytliev, Lil' Gooser, DΓͺqΓͺn Paljor, Detective Constable Malcolm Carmicheal, Janet Carmicheal, Ross Padgett, Brenda Montross, William Atkins, Sarah Browne, Achilles Pico, @fterB.U.R.N.E.R, The Phantoglyphs, Nigel Tavers, Jean-Luc Mbah a Moute, and The Hole.
