I've never made a shoe cover OR worked with vinyl, so I had reservations here, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome! All this needs is the belt around the bridge of the foot, and some belt buckles I still need to sculpt. The other boot is ALMOST done, so I'm limping around the house with an uneven hair because I don't want to take this off. ❤️👢 Cero will have a fine pair of High House Halfboots to wear for con.

Silica (OS ver.) boot cover progress~
The toe and heel pieces were sewn to the shell, then 0.625″ gold domed buttons were sewn on near the toes. The lining pieces and soles were sewn to the shell as well.
The final step was to paint the soles with some Plasti Dip to give them traction. When wearing the shoes, I had to manually scrunch down the leg shafts by about an inch to give them the proper look.
