Obviously if DC makes Booster Gold or Batman queer then they should ideally end up with/date Blue Beetle and Superman/Ghostmaker respectively. BUT imagine how perfect it would be if they dated each other??? Booster “incompetent sell-out himbo” Gold and Bruce “dumb rich hoe” Wayne dating would literally be perfect for both of them to maintain their secret identities without needing to put effort into sleeping around, lying to partners, or revealing their identities to outsiders. Especially considering they’ve both always had a weirdly strong mutual respect and trust in each other. Their dynamic as two dads who pretend to be morons to make people not look too closely at their actions but who are secretly really competent and important to society and who don’t/can’t really open up about what they’re doing to anyone except a handful of people and, for reasons unknown to those around them, each other is truly unmatched. And imagine how the rest of their respective social circles would be completely baffled as to what’s going on? Like the batkids (sans Dick) and the league both being utterly confused as to what Bruce sees in Booster and what kind of secret Batman strategy this is part of. Whilst Ted and the rest of the JLI think that Booster is just doing his sugar baby/gold digger thing again and just can’t understand why Batman wouldn’t see through that/would go along with it. I don’t necessarily think they should be together forever, but it’d be a crime if they both came out and didn’t date or have something queer going on together.
