A wonderful review of the book Durga #Repost @allaboutmommying (@get_repost) ・・・ It’s Monday and our team is here with some amazing book recommendations for you all. . This week was about Navarathri we at #bookwormcubbies cubbies decided to post books about empowered women. . Here’s what my cubbie is reading today. . 🔱 DURGA 🔱 . For this week about empowered women and Navarathri I thought this book would be apt to talk about goddess Durga. . The book has gorgeous illustrations and with one liner describing the goddess Durga. . It’s a book for young readers to read independently as it’s not too wordy. . The book tells how goddess Durga has ten arms which has weapons, why she is called triyambake. Basically there is no story but each deity is well explained according to presence. . Durga is a warrior who fears none and could bring down the demon mahisasura. . The book describes how gloriously strong she was. It’s a good conversation to have with kids and tell them how it’s important to stand alone when need be. . It’s a great deed to be powerful and smart. Talk to your child about strong female deities as well. . We absolutely love these books! . Book from @thebookmark.in .
