My friend used to be homophobic as a teen, it disappointed me, but I lnew she wasn't bad, just uninformed and inmature. She grew up and learned. Some people forget we can all change and be better, you don't have to just give up on people.
That's good. When you own up to your mistakes and strive to become more informed, to free yourself from stereotypes and preconceived notions and stigmas, then you're definitely making an effort to become a better person. And I very much appreciate that.
But doesn't the avatar need to be from other bending? If the Avatar was giving birth and died it wouldn't be possible for her kid to be the avatar because it need to be of the next bending hability, water, earth, fire, air... isn't that the order? But now, the kids are going to have the Avatar's original bending habiliy or the other parent? Because Aang had kids with Katara and some could bend air and others water... If a waterbender avatar had kids with a earthbender, then it could happen :D
that's what I said in the post - the baby would be a bender in the next element! Because I think Mako and Bolin had firebender parents? And Bolin is an earthbender - but idk maybe I forgot one of his parents was an earthbender or even just normal and so it could have been dormant or something....
But yeah! So like the Avatar's husband could be the bender of whatever was next in the cycle and then boom - you're both your mom and your daughter...or son....weird. haha
