How did you find the knock off legos? I've been tempted to buy some since legos have gotten obscenely expensive and this fella sure is cute. Just worried they'd be cheesy and not fit together right or something.

I had a healthy 9pm bowl of sliced jalapenos and taco sauce. w a sugar free popsicle. the food pyramid is smiling upon me

17 are you farsighted or nearsighted?

I see what you’re doing…… bc my screen is only a few inches away bc I’m nearsighted and YES I need glasses. someday. I swear

25 perfume/body spray or lotion?

I think I’m a perfume person - most lotion feels like it never really sinks in? I had a subscription to olfactif for a while, specialty perfumes/colognes in little sample sizes. tho I’m a sucker for sample anything tbh

27 about how many hours of sleep did you get?

OK LISTEN…….. idk work days probably 4ish. days off I might get like 6-8? I never manage to like get shit done til after dark (partially biology, partially so I have the space I want to myself, A LOT bc idk where time goes and I can spend a lot of time doing god knows what but it sure isn’t what I want to be doing???)

hooooooooooo that’s a question. choosing this is v definitely a ‘they’re currently living’ question bc otherwise like ppl like Reagan and William Luther Pierce are a gimme. let’s go w some current monsters like Alex Jones or Rupert Murdoch. Jordan Peterson could make the cut but he seems to be doing his best to take himself out all on his own

gealach would have a lot of uplifting trance tracks but with that sort of sparkly sound that was more utilised in the 00s. the sort of music that makes you think the album cover has a picture of a dolphin on it

scáthach would have mainly fast paced hardcore music and honestly he would probably excessively sample sounds from horror movies. not as excessive as the 3rd example here but excessive enough to be noteworthy

It's a micro set, so the bricks were tiny! It was hard to put some of the things together or take them apart if I messed up. The directions were also unclear in parts.

That said, everything snapped together well and the finished project is a delight if a little unsteady. I would say it's worth the price, though I got the set as a gift so others might feel different.

3. Any poetry on your TBR?

not as much as in previous years! i haven't really been in a poetry mood lately to be honest. that said i am looking forward to reading franny choi's latest, the world keeps ending and the world goes on; i also borrowed the new ada limón from my sister and want to read that soonish. sean bonney was my fave poet i read in 2022 so i may see if i can pick up some more of his work, and lastly i have fairy tales by robert walser on the pile as a part of my current entree into folkloristics.

15. Any other reading you'll do in 2023 that you want to recommend to folks? Newspapers, substack, favorite blog, etc?
