New Years book time
My year of reading went very well. I read 66 books this year, 62 of them I hadn't read before. I read a lot of fantasy, more sci if than ever before, and I tore through some YA novels, as I am like to do. For 2014, I want to continue my reading trends, read more books I haven't read before, discover new authors, and push myself out of my reading comfort zone as little more. I am participating in a book club that has been fun so far. Next up is World War Z, by Max Brooks, which I borrowed from the library on my kindle. Neato. I'm also going to try for the reading challenge from that forum I participated in last year, haven't checked the website as of 2014, but I'll get on that.
Finished book 66 for the year. Good read. I think I like A Series of Unfortunate Events better, but this series has just started and I can't read the whole thing in one go. I do like how the two series's (series'? Serieseses?) mix together and the little hints he drops about characters you know from ASoUE. Good read.
Kiss & Make Up, by Katie D. Anderson
is a ridiculous book about a 16 year old girl that kisses the nerds to get better grades, and then actually likes one of the nerds and stuff and stuff. It's actually pretty sweet, and not terribly written, which is what got me through the whole thing.
And I read it on my kindle. Which is super neato.
