Bookel (Book x Nickel) - I don't know, they don't interact much, but you can't take my girl away from a fun silly guy.

Bookpin (Book x Pin) - I ship them, but only platonically because PLATONIC SHIPS NEED RESPECT! They're just so cute, even if I really don't see them as girlfriends.

Sawty (Saw x Gaty) - Both of these characters are just so freaking cute, and even though she's just a gag in canon,I can't help but really like Saw. I swear, with someone truly there for her she can be her person and break out of the right gag! (Also ship them platonically tbh)

I like the idea of book being a little worried Leafy would feel left out because of everything in bfdia 25.

I haven’t talked about pinbook in a while so why not🤔 okay so it’s becoming more liked in the community from what i’ve seen and i’m really glad it is because i’ve been shipping pinbook since bfdia 20 (haven’t been public about it since bfdia 22 i think) but i like seeing their relationship slowly improve as the episodes went by and i find it amazing how despite all their arguments(? they were still willing to be nice to eachother. pin was rude(? to book in bfdia i will admit but pin was rude(? to a lot of people that season (just the people she believed wronged her) so i wouldn’t say that’s an excuse to call them toxic because in later seasons (especially bfb + tpot) they were shown to genuinely care for eachother.

bfdia 23 proves this even further as pin wasn’t being rude to book in that episode. just encouraging her in her own way, if that makes sense. book has also shown to care about pin. which i would say is important in a relationship, so this also helps explain how they wouldn’t be toxic.

the excuse people use more for them being toxic was the amount of times pin drilled book. i’d have to say pin drilled book about 5 times. out of all 5 times, 1 of them was pin intentionally trying to kill / hurt book. the other times were coincidental. i wouldn’t say that’s toxic, and pin has improved who she is as a person throughout seasons. she may have gotten more boring, but she’s not what people would consider “toxic”.

people can make mistakes. if your partner were to make mistakes you wouldn’t call them toxic just because of that, so why does it apply to a ship I FIND COMFORT IN? they have different personalities in bfdia, but notice how once pin started talking to book pin improved to become a nicer person? usually i wouldn’t say it would be a healthy relationship to change yourself, but if your partner changed you for the better without forcing you into changing? i’d say that’s not toxic.

my point is pinbook isn’t, and never was toxic. i know i keep saying that but most of the time when book got drilled it wasn’t pin’s fault. in one bfdia episode pin was TARGETING coiny and going to drill him, same like she did with book, but instead book got drilled. that’s not considered toxic for pinbook. using the logic for “pinbook is toxic!” that would make ALMOST everyone’s beloved coinpin toxic. (i personally don’t like coinpin but ship what you want).
