#Listen I understand that a lot of Italian immigrants have 'anglicized' their names to better integrate into society #And I do understand that there are American/English men named Giuseppe who either don't know how it's pronounced or don't care #Words and pronunciation might change with time! I know that!#But in the case you (general you) are talking about a living human being of certain nationality #Don't just assume their name is pronounced the same way your language does #This was sparked by a yt video about Salvatore Garau #Who's an artist I don't know so I will refrain from any judgement on him #But the guy pronounced his name as 'Salvator Garoo' which #Yeah no sjggkdjgjdej #bookmark'd

With so many straight ships being called "yuri" for apparently no reason I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few years the word "yuri" will become shorthand for "good ship" losing all its original meaning

Very much a pet peeve of mine but I absolutely hate how the figure of Lilith got popularized as a generic girlboss babe while not even being in the original text and more importantly pushing Eve completely to the side.

I've lost count of all the feminist retellings that make Eve into a subservient nobody or completely erase her while she has so much potential for being an interest character. Imagine being the first mother??? The first woman to bear children, the first human being to discover the meaning of family and then losing all of it and then picking herself up and trying one more time. The Bible is incredibly stingy with female characters sometimes, there's SO MUCH that could be said and thought about Eve if people weren't too busy turning Adam into a raging misogynist.

There's genuinely no trace of Adam being an asshole to Eve. One of the few interactions with them is Cain's birth and Adam is so impressed by the whole ordeal he gives his wife the name Source of Life (Chavah/Havah) while he's more than okay with being called Dirt (Adamah) how does this man not love his wife you're all LIARS
