In the new story update, we found out that the nocturnal fae were not the primary inhabitants of the current Briar Land territory and originally came from the north. They went to war with the diurnal fae and won, which essentially positions them as — oh my God — the oppressors!
I was just so tired of seeing stupid posts from time to time from certain people who were seething whenever the topic of a human invasion of Briar Land was brought up, along with narratives about how the poor fae suffered and how humans are inherently evil, to the point of claiming that Silver should want to kill himself simply because of his lineage. God forbid you mention you like the Dawn Knight.
I’m so sorry, but I just realized I forgot to ask something about Skybound. Does it still focus on Jay and Nya(and if it does, will Nadakhan be going after Nya for destroying Djinnjago? I’m still surprised Skybound never really did anything with that fact) or does it focus on someone else? And finally….Just how crazy WILL you make Delara? I’m sorry I sent two asks, I just forgot to include these.
Does it still focus on Jay and Nya <- yes
(and if it does, will Nadakhan be going after Nya for destroying Djinnjago?) <- I have to refresh myself on this particular detail but it’s something I could work in
or does it focus on someone else? <- the season would need to be called something else if this were the case I think. Imagine: Kaibound instead
And finally….Just how crazy WILL you make Delara? <- still ironing this out since the show itself has like three interpretations of her (genuine person just in love with Nadakhan before or despite him going off the deep end + a woman as deranged as he was and supportive of his quest for power + Nya’s claim that Nadkhan was just using her for power and that she was essentially a slave/captive/tool for him) soooo still gotta see how I want things to shake out. I’ve seen approaches for all three take in others fanfics, so I definitely wanna find my own way to stand out
1. What backlash did Nya get for accidentally destroying Djinnjago and how did the other ninja deal with the backlash she got?
2. How do your OCs handle Nya’s death in the original Skybound timeline and her merging in Seabound(also, how do they react to water and wind not being part of the FSM’s abilities like the other elements)
3. What did everyone think of Delara and Morro(two spirits who have both possessed ninjas(Nya and Lloyd)
And 4. What was it like for the two ninjas when they were possessed?
Well people would have to know about Djinnjago first 👀
2. The OG timeline doesn't get erased in this chain of events, and Nya's also not the one that 'dies' this time around ;O And by Seabound its already pretty common knowledge that Wind and Water aren't part of the FSM's repertoire, so no real shock there- the main reveal is how those two elements specifically are connected to Wojira. The reaction to her merging is as emotionally distressing as you would expect, though the surrounding circumstances are also a bit different
3. Delara- probably crazy for thinking Nadakhan had any redeeming qualities for a lover, and Morro- mostly pity for how he turned out, though definitely a lot of contempt for targeting Lloyd in the way he did
4. More than two ninjas get Possessed (by Morro) in my chain of events! No instance was pleasant, of course
