pennys rtfandub series is genuinely so dear to me i loveee love love the format of it so much. media that comes from improv is always so fun imo esp when its obviously being done for laughs and yet there are certain threads in there that will be caught and tied together and end up making a cohesive story (in a way thats why minecraft smp roleplay & things like that gather such fandoms i think ...) . like penny has said herself it really is just like playing toys with familiar characters & i think that is so beauutiful . sometbing meaningful born from having fun w ur friends etc !

& with do no harm in particular its genuinely such a well made project. i cant fathom the amount of effort put into it ... hearing all the behind the scenes stuff is such a cool experience especially & i havent even finished the full commentary vod..... anyway. in regards to story stuff i think its so fun how through the entire thing its ended up having an overarching theme of adults' influence on children with sora's curiosity being warped into bloodlust by his guardians & , obviously the whole deal riku has with maleficent and her freak family & ansem being the epitome of fuckass adult trying to get you to do something. i think its really sweet to see sora kairi and riku attached to each other through it all... also big fan of riku just being a stressed out kid and like. being really really nice to sora despite the game constantly showing riku doing villain shit. really funny way to do that and also makes their dynamic fun to watch with how its sort of turned into riku being the voice of reason & trying to help sora and how he ends up 'sacrificing' himself for sora in a way like the original game

obviously im epic normal about the twist of kairi being a surgeon & the entire beginning dream sequence occuring while she's operating on sora and trying to save him, especially with the knowledge that some of the lines said in that dream are things she would be saying over his body during the operation ..... the imagery of it is soooo soooo yummmm yum yummm i honestly got so crazy over it after hearing the full lyrics to do no harm because goddd its so visceral its so ridiculous for a game like kh its awesome. & its soo so sick that it connects everything in such a pleasant way, that kairi performing heart surgery on sora made him grow so curious about cardiology & blood and that led him through the entire journey until he finds out that blood is supposed to be inside the body and gets kairis lucky scalpel ^_^ all of it sounds really stupid but that is the point . its kingdom hearts so its going to be about cardiology because thats funny except im emotional about it etc etc
