Beating the fear... . Tuesday @ghost11bk and I hiked Boney Mtn in the Santa Monica Mountain Range. The hike, which Corey had initially remembered as being 6 miles round trip, was actually a little over 6 miles each way. 😬 . This photo was taken after we had summited. Cor really wanted to take me to these caves he had found. I was exhausted, and tight spaces kinda give me the creeps. I blame the movie "The Descent". Anywho, I was getting really testy with Corey as we hiked in, and right before we took this picture karma got me and I smacked my head really hard, I mean full on tears hard, on a rock shelf. I started to fall apart a little. But Corey, being Corey, gave me a kiss on the head and said we should take some pictures. . Climbing up the rock wall to take this photo was a little nerve-wracking and challenging but seeing the photo when we got to the bottom, 3 hours later, felt very empowering. . All this to say, I'm so lucky to have such an amazing partner to adventure with and it was a great reminder to keep your head up, the victory is so much sweeter when you push yourself 🏆#boneymountain #GetOutside #GoExplore #LittleVictories (at Boney Mountain Trail)
