but jim would probably be a little shit and keep making stupid medicine-innuendos whenever he gets bored because there's no klingons to bully and they've been scanning the same stupid nebula for 2 weeks and so he just coms bones and goes 'doctor i have this weird swelling and i think you need to give me some of your medicine to get it back down' and bones just grumbles some insult and hangs up but jim keeps doing it and they keep getting more and more cheesy until at the end of the shift bones comes to their quarters and jim is waiting for him with a shitface grin and asks 'is that a hypospray in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?'
and then they have hot sex while jim keeps trying to get out more dumb pickup lines
