Reaching for his glass on the bar, Jaewon got surprised not by the sudden question but the deep voice of the male that was occupying the stool beside him. He doesn’t reply right away, trying to figure out if what the other said was a good thing or not, stealing a glance at his direction. It’s hard to read the dark haired male and Jaewon decided to turn on his stool so he can take a better look at him. There is a smile on his lips, curiosity dancing in his eyes. 

“Is that a good thing or..?” He finally asked out loud, never the one to keep the questions to himself. “... or I’m not the first good looking bartender you saw?” Jaewon joked, winking at the other before a small laugh left his lips.

He noticed the other. It was only natural as Jaewon was the one pouring drinks for him not too long ago on the opposite side of the bar. But his shift ended and instead of going home, he decided to stick around for a while.

Mason couldn’t sleep, it was both as simple and complicated as that. Although he didn’t need as much sleep to function as he did as a human, eventually his body would crave rest. And although he was exhausted both physically and mentally, he couldn’t bring himself to actually SLEEP. Couldn’t stop his mind from wandering and by extension his body. 

He had a habit of taking long walks at night, trying to clear his mind---trying to tire himself. Tonight he’d ended up in a seedy bar in a rather questionable part of town. He figured a few beers and taking a cab home couldn’t cause too much harm. So there he sat, sipping and wishing his heart could rest so maybe his mind & body could too. 

seulgi... takes risks. yes. definitely. she’s been known to run herself through some irresponsible situations, too, but she’s always gotten out of them without much harm to anyone involved (well, mostly herself). 

but breaking the law? no. never. 

well, not until now.

to be fair, there’s no strict nor specific law that claims one shouldn’t pretend to be someone’s wife and run with that little lie to have a taste of a good life. still, she thinks even this might be a stretch for her. flashing a pretty little smile to the receptionist and lying through her teeth that she had lost her key and that her husband wouldn’t be back for hours was really probably the extent of her criminality. it wasn’t even like she had to egg him on, either; it didn’t take much for her to wheedle her way into that double room with only one occupant that just happened to leave earlier on in the morning. people will really believe what they want to believe.
