Real Human Molar Necklace (or Bracelet) with Your Choice of Amount of Teeth by Jana Miller (Bonelust on Etsy and Tumblr)
So I've had this itching idea that I want to write some kind of book on bone collecting because I feel like there needs to be a nice concise book dedicated to information about bone collecting as a hobby. It'd be good reference material for collectors as well as a good source of information or inspiration for people interested in bone collecting.
I don't think I could do it all by myself because my experiences are limited to bone collecting in the area I live in and I feel that a book like this would need information from as many sources as I can find which, of course, could potentially be all you other bone collectors on tumblr.
That being said, I'm also completely enamored with the nickname "Bone Queens" coined (I'm assuming) by forestferncreations and I thought maybe we could incorporate that somehow and have little biographical blurbs about each of us individually (but with as much anonymity as you desire) so as you read you also get to know some of the people who collect bones and who contributed to this potentially super-awesome book.
I guess in a way not only would it be a cool project and a good reference for other people, but it would also be an interesting way to dispel some of the misconceptions people have about bone collectors, bone collecting, and its associated hobbies. Personally, I've had people go so far as to tell say they thought I would end up being a serial killer which I not only find really offensive but really disappointing that people could get such a negative idea about what bone collecting is and who the people are that do it.
Anyways, before I type my fingers to nubs, what do you guys think?
