Playtime is important, but so is learning! As a parent, I believe in the value of free play for my preschooler son, Aydeen. But, that doesn't mean we should ignore academic homework entirely. In fact, Aydeen and I have found a way to combine the two! Sometimes, we take his homework outdoors, where he can still learn and have fun at the same time. It's a great way to bond with him while also helping him stay on top of his schoolwork. At the end of the day, it's all about finding a balance between play and academics.
