Celebrating the past and shaping the future with the Fountain of Giving
Once a Bondy, always a Bondy. Far beyond graduation, Bond University alumni are part of a lifelong community, and the Fountain of Giving was established to commemorate and celebrate those special connections. Through purchasing a plaque, you can cement your place in the University’s history and support the next generation of leaders.
Established in 2005, the Garden of Learning was created as a fundraising project that allowed Bond’s students, alumni, staff and community members to purchase a piece of campus.
The initiative was immediately embraced by the University community, including Bond University Student Council (now BUSA), the University Council, prominent alumni, and generous community members.
The Garden of Learning: 2005-2014
In 2014, the Garden of Learning became the Fountain of Giving, and was relocated to a purpose-built fountain in the Alumni Court (part of the ADCO Amphitheatre).
Today, Bond University’s students, alumni, staff and community members are all encouraged to purchase a plaque for the Fountain of Giving to cement their connection with the University, as well as commemorate their time at Bond.
Corporations, non-profit organisations, sporting clubs and special interest groups are also able to show their support, through contributing to the endeavours of future leaders.
One hundred per cent of funds raised from the Fountain of Giving are donated to Bond University’s Ambition Fund, which supports new campus facilities, advances key research projects, and builds on Bond’s unparalleled student experience by funding the Student Opportunity Fund, Elite Athlete Fund, Transformer Fund, and Alumni Scholarships.
