Crazy, today I leave Canada and close this 21 year chapter living in my dear island city of Montréal. I definitely shed some tears yesterday as I stood in my empty apartment, feeling like it was the final episode of a sitcom I enjoyed for too long. Seems like life might have new plans for me now, so I just surrender and go with my flow. It was an intense mission to pack up all of my belongings in one week and rent it to a skater friend/couple. Breaking attachments has been a big lesson for me these last few years, yet letting go of my own home/city/country/friends/etc hasn’t been easy. It was necessary though to stay authentic with myself and continue my path of freedom. As much as I’ve been sad, I’ve also been super exited and optimistic about what’s to come over the rainbow!
