First up in April. This is the bookclub pick for Bookclub of Mirth for April. Considering what is happening in the world, we wanted to read something fluffy and full of warm fuzzies, so this is the one that won out.
I think this book is out of the norm for me, so I am excited to read something different and I hope it delivers on the good feels.
It was a good book, and I am glad I stepped out of my normal reading for it.
The biggest thing I liked about the book was Carey’s development and I think it worked out well, even if it was a little predictable. I liked James as a character, but I feel that so much was focused on Carey, even when we were in his perspective, that you don’t really get to know him. I wish he had been fleshed out a little more.
