NA meetings in LA
A quarter past four, still dark out. Vision blur is telling of a long night, late-night chain smoking spliffs well past midnight. Iāve lost my way, the dreams that carriedĀ me forward have faded, and the echoes of a younger optimism sound alien against a cacophony of screeching.Ā
I think you can relate to the pit of dread that forms at the anticipationĀ of being questioned. The question that haunts me the most is what's your plan for life. I have none. The road that once seemed so clear has become a dense forestĀ of doubts and at times a swap of sloth.Ā
The weight of the world is a burden we all share. The mass of pressure from all facets of life compresses us all and so my woes are no heavier than yours. I find it hard to bear the weight when I cannot see where I will finallyĀ lay it toĀ rest.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
