anywho valerie is very deadpan and quiet.. she rarely shows any REAL emotions unless she feels comfortable to (typically around close friends)

if she feels threatened she usually puts up a fake persona of an innocent and polite young lady who never does any wrong!! she’s actually very contemptuous and apathetic, think of like.. a cartoon brat that acts like an angel around any authority figure

acting innocently is her main defense mechanism when it comes to emotional conflict, BUT shes not a mean person i swear!! she does genuinely care about the people she loves and shes not a bully to anyone who she doesn’t think deserves it. like i said, she only uses the angel persona when she feels threatened

now for her backstory, its subject to change and since im constantly coming with new ideas for valerie it’s difficult for me to settle on one thing so i’ll just list a few constants :

- She was born in the 60s (proxies in my au are undead and immortal after becoming one, theyre like grim reapers essentially)

- Her father was a very powerful man in the town her family lived in, and he’s the main reason she is the way she is

- And she murdered her entire family on her 16th birthday with either an axe or a hunting rifle
