10. Are you always going to be a little in love with somebody?

I think probably, for better or worse, yes. Although I don’t know if I’ve ever truly/really been in/felt love with/for someone?

20. Do you want a grand adventure?

Tentatively yes. Of course it likely won’t happen until after covid, whenever that’ll be.

30. Are your choices fated or of your own free will?

I think a mixture of both, to be honest. I think that there are some things that happen that are beyond our control but there are also obviously choices or responses that are based on our actions.

40. What makes a person ‘good’? Are you a ‘good person’?

I think the main consideration in what makes a person good is how much and whether they minimize harm to others, through their own actions or in response to the actions of others, and how much and whether they try to help and benefit others. 

I think I’m probably not as bad nor as good as I could be.

50. What do you expect from a friend or partner?

Generally speaking: consideration and honesty, and support within ability. I try to not go beyond that.

60. What do you think the next era of fashion will be like?

I’ve mentioned before that I feel like the Trump administration has been such a callback to the Reagan years that we’ve seen a neo-Eighties fashion revival, and so logically speaking there should be a neo-Nineties fashion revival.

However, I think we’re overdue for a pre-neo-Zenon fashion surge at this point.

70. What’s the tragedy of your life?

Just the one?

Either the acceptance and focus on my identity later than ideal and all the extra catching up and lost opportunities, or (to be pretentious), this quote from Marina Tsvetaeva’s Bride of Ice:

“In you, I see the heroines of Shakespeare’s tragedies. You, unhappy lady, were never saved by anybody.”

80. Is your music organised by mood or sensation or do you just listen to everything at any time?

Oh, definitely the latter, since I don’t particularly organize my music.

90. Given the chance to reset your life (with none of the knowledge you currently have), would you take it?

I don’t think so - I think it would be extremely tragic and depressing, even if I didn’t know it, to redo my life and end up the same way. 

100. What belief do you have that isn’t logically grounded, but you still firmly believe in?

i can't think of anything that's exactly that, but there is. a lot of you belong with me style big sprawling dan/casey and i would recommend anything by phoebesmum especially for pre-series stuff (the beautiful south series is excellent)

7. what happened tonight?

had a meeting for the scjc about passover bidness. it was v gr8 and jewish. then i persuaded isabel 2 make me coffee. then i ripped my evening with noel fielding dvd in order to get joe lynn’s dumbass documentary that has absolutely no narrative then i wrote almost an entire essay about doctor faustus and i’m not even sure it has a thesis? it’s due tomorrow at 1:10 so that’s great. now i’m sitting in my bed surrounded by unfolded laundry thinking about how good noel fielding looked with blond hair

clothes if i ever get paid (haven’t had a shift at work in 3 weeks, thanks urbean 

27. would you be able to date someone who doesn’t make you laugh?
