Just rewatching and something I didn't notice the first time is that is red waves are around Phatsas shoulder.
His pheromones are shown to be blue.
Nakhuns pheromones on the other hand are normally red.
If the point of making phatsa ignorant of the alpha-beta-omeaga world was to make him resistant to the Bond, they should have just given him some backstory as a valid reason. Maybe his parents were bonded by force, maybe he had a bad experience with some shitty Alpha in the past, maybe he is a follower of some socialist ideology like the equality of Alpha beta and omega.
At least then the conversation with the lady in the coffee shop would have made sense.

Knot ep. 3 commentary!
First of all, the subs are finally fixed!! Yippee!!
Nakhun very clearly has a competence kink. He looked so happy and proud seeing Phatsa at work and asking him questions. Those were the eyes of a man in love.
What's up with Nakhun's dad?? Nakhun was ready to fight him when he came close to Phatsa. My man was ready to throw hands even if he's still a bit scared of his father.
What's up with all these random kids?
I still don't get Amintra as a character yet. But this is only her first appearance. I guess we'll see more of her and her role in the story later on and finally figure out if she's friend or foe. Her intro in the show however was pretty cool and iconic.
Also, Nakhun defending Phatsa at the shooting range saying he's not helpless was HOT. Also also, Oat in a crop top???? Yummy.
I saw someone mention this in another post, but why is Phatsa kind of OP in this story? He's really good at fighting, shooting and is also incredibly clever. As per Nakhun's own words, he has "instincts that only someone who knows how to kill a target would have." I don't think it's just his nature as a pure omega or even the power boost of the bond. I think there's something else... This boy is suspicious.
Another theory of mine is that Saengnuea is going into heat when he finally visits Phatsa. Also, why do I get the feeling that he's trying to seduce any alpha and getting himself a mate as quickly as posible? Why would he want that...? Another suspicious boy.
The talk in bed about how Phatsa is feeling trapped is heartbreaking. However, I love how Nakhun is trying his best to accommodate him and his needs, even if it's with small things like giving him a car or a job as his assistant. His efforts might be a little misguided but he's definitely trying his best to make Phatsa happy.
Just when I thought this show couldn't surprise me anymore it gave me feelings (and pain) shared through the bond! Nakhun feeling Phatsa's pain in the warehouse was delicious. Also Nakhun's face when Phatsa was at the hospital... He was so worried :(( Boat is another amazing actor.
Why do I also get the feeling that Naphitch knew about the drugs at the bar and that's why he got into the fight with the owner? My take is that his intentions are good, but he always ends up in trouble because the execution of his plans suck and he's very impulsive.
Also, I didn't know Naphitch was a half brother until yesterday, when I watched the cast reaction to ep. 2 and they mentioned it. Apparently he has a different mother than the other two brothers.
Somehow the scene of Phatsa waiting for Nakhun to come to bed at the end of a hard day felt a little ooc in the episode. I feel like a scene like that belongs a little further in the story. Especially when Phatsa is still a little against the idea of Nakhun touching or hugging him. Comforting and hugging Nakhun felt a little out of place for some reason, even if the scene was cute as hell <3
OMEGA/OMEGA SOLIDARITY, HECK YEAH! Is Saengnuea going to teach Phatsa all his seduction techniques? If so, can I watch??
Again, something tells me not to trust Saengnuea...
I LOVE Nakhin. He's such a brat. But why is he answering to Saengnuea's flirting? Boy, stopp.
I found something interesting in Ongsa and Nakhin's conversation. Ongsa was telling him "there's nothing between us anymore." Is he just referring to that one night with the kiss or do these two know each other from before...? If that's the case, then the random kiss that night makes a little more sense.
I love how everyone (except evil dad) is being kind to Phatsa (and occasionally teasing him), especially after all the hell he's been through.
Oh... Saengnuea is DEFINITELY getting his heat in Phatsa's home.
BOAT IN GLASSES
SIR, PUT THAT TONGUE AWAY!!
I'm not sure if Nakhun is going into rut soon or if he's just really horny lol
FINAL THOUGHTS: It was a more chill episode than last week. I feel like we got to know the characters a bit more deeply and we saw them interact more with each other. We're also getting more development of the main couple, which I love. Exposition time is also finally getting shorter. There were also some new things, like the shared-pain/quick healing thing. But we're starting to really get into the story. This show is really making me excited for Tuesdays and once again, I can't wait for the next episode!
Another thing I love about Knot is the weird bond Phatsa already has with Nakhun. Like, he’s resisting this fate as much as he can—refuses physical stuff, states his misery at being trapped, tries to stay out longer, won’t let people label them partners, resents/blames him for biting him.
But there’s a softness to his resistance, like the bonding is already happening almost without him noticing. He needs to be physically close (sitting together, hugging etc), he speaks gently when talking about his unhappiness, he calms Nakhun with a touch whenever his dad pisses him off, he doesn’t like thinking he’s mad about the car argument, he comes home immediately when Nakhun calls instead of sending someone.
I just think Oat is playing that contrast beautifully in his performance.
The mechanics of the plot and direction are clunky at times but the characterization and world building are fascinating.
