Get involved with our outreach this Spring 2020 in Baltimore !!!
VOLUNTEER WITH THE AMNGLOBAL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
The AMNGLOBAL program is an effort by our volunteers to recruit, train, and deploy performance and visual artists to educate and motivate hard-to-count populations during Baltimore’s 2020 Census.
AMNGLOBAL will use performance arts productions, digital communications channels and be on-the-ground in our neighborhoods, reaching out to residents to educate them about how census data determines federal funding for our schools, social and health services, and infrastructure.
Invest time back into the community, you should consider becoming an AMNGLOBAL Ambassador*. The following are some of what you might do as an AMGA working to ensure a fair and accurate count:
Interview with AMNGLOBAL media to share your knowledge about the benefits of the census, educate other performance and visual artists and community members about the census, address their concerns, and/or to help fill out the census survey itself.
Perform at an event this Spring 2020 in Station North Arts and Entertainment district to discuss the importance of Census 2020 and encourage people to participate.
Volunteer at AMNGLOBAL events to promote Census 2020.
Share/repost social media content and information to encourage participation in Census 2020.
Recruit more ambassadors: we need as many AMGAs as possible!
*You must be 21 years old to participate in most AMGA Program activities; some exceptions will be made for special initiatives.
