Back to some basics today! For today I dipped into @milanicosmetics #everydayeyes in #basicmattes. Then I bronzed it up with the handy dandy #blushbronzerduo from @pacificabeauty . Next, I took some #pearlescentpink from @wetnwildbeauty before I finished up with some #DimLight from @hourglasscosmetics and spritzed all over with some @maccosmetics #macfixplus. This is a very fast and quick look for a bit of color. Supplies for today’s #motd and the actual #motd look. I must really like @urbandecaycosmetics #NakedHeat because this is the second day in a row I’m using it since acquiring a few days ago! 😂 I’m not sure what it is but I’m definitely liking it. It also helps that @urbandecaycosmetics came out with a few #StealtheLook #makeuptutorials on their @pinterest page 😂 Again, I’m using the #blushbronzerduo from @pacificabeauty but because of the shiny shimmery blush situation I decided to use it much higher and more over my cheekbones as a #highlight than as a blush. For my actual blush, I used @wetnwildbeauty #PearlescentPink and then blended it and #WildRose together. I think it looks much better this way and it offers a more well blended and seamless appearance. The other pink is my natural skin. I did not use a tint or foundation today so I just used some of the #bronzer in #desert and then topped it all off with my @hourglasscosmetics #Dimlight. Conveniently, I also decided to clean my brushes today so they all came out in full force 🤦🏻‍♀️😂🙄. I really love my two @luxiebeauty #kabukibrushes. I used the #RoundTopBlender #532 for my bronzer and the #AngledTopBuffer #534 for the blush. I like how densely packed and forgiving they are. In comparison, the #50F from #farah is much squisher and less densely packed which makes putting on blush for me a bit difficult. For the all over I used a @bhcosmetics #fluffybrush which had a little bit of give but is also packed enough to give a nice sweep and feeling all over my face. I also tried the #dualended #eyeshadowbrush that came with the #eyeshadowpalette today and I actually like it. I rarely use those brushes but was too lazy to grab another so I figured why not. It handles a spray of #macfixplus really well and definitely does a solid job. Overall, I’m really liking this look today! I broke into @urbandecaycosmetics #NakedHeat for my 7th anniversary look today! I was really at a lost as to what “look” to do and I ended up finding one on pinterest that I liked. Unfortunately, it looks a little different due to my #monolids but the color scheme is still the same. I’m surprised as to how much I actually liked using this palette as I thought I would like #NakedCherry much more. However the color range here fits in with the warmth of summer. One qualm I do have is with the #blushbronzerduo from @pacificabeauty that I received in my #ipsyglambag for #ipsydivein this month. The bronzer is matte and very faint, which is fine and what I would rather instead of having it automatically overload but the blush is way too shiny. The color looks beautiful in the pan but when I put it on the sheen makes it more of a rose highlight than an actual blush. After having worn the “blush” for a couple days and having the same result I think I’ll be using it more as a highlight in the future than as a blush.
