Yes. Mumbo wasn’t surprised, after like a month or two he realised that he would be missing Grian. Obviously there is an option to turn Grian into a vampire, but since Mumbo himself sees it as a curse, he wasn’t going to do it. And Grian never asked because… well stupid.
Scar was surprised. Only after Grian had died did the fae realise that he actually liked this human beyond just source of entertainment.
