I watched that bluetoes Christmas special. WTF. Like seriously, they treated him like garbage and then celebrate frostbite on his toes?!?
right? it's a mess!
Small One is very clearly doing his best, just wanting to help, but the other elves are awful to him! they talk about him behind his back, complain about having to work with him, and lecture him about his "mischief" - but he's not even being mischievous, he's just clumsy and awkward! he doesn't cause problems on purpose!
and then after he sacrifices his own health and safety to bring joy to two poor children, Santa and the other elves throw a party over Small One's severe frostbite, saying that his horrifying, permanently-blue toes will always remind them that the small things are important (???).
and lastly, as a true act of cruelty, they decide that his new name, the thing people will call him for the rest of his life, is "Bluetoes".
