Ah, hello!  I do remember you!  And thank you for the compliment!  I'm probably not the best person to be asking about making webcomics— I haven't updated mine since March or April and I have a slew of other abandoned projects, but I do have one word of advice on the thing that motivates me most:

Network.

Get to know as many people as possible.  Get a circle of friends who are all artists and all want to make a webcomic.  If they want to make a webcomic "someday" and not "now," try to convince them that now is the time to start.  Start your comics together.  Set deadlines together and stick to them.  Give your friends some rib-pokes to work on their comics and make sure they do the same to you.

And make sure you're having fun while you're doing that!  Share concepts and WIPs, tell a few friends the entire plot and then withhold it from others and laugh when they tell you their favorite character is someone you're going to kill.  If you're stressed about it, take a break, play a video game and maybe doodle some side things.

Advertise your comic like crazy—a lot of young artists seem to conflate "building a brand name and advertising" with "selling out," but that's pretty far from the truth.  It's a good idea to pick a title that'll come up pretty easily in a google search and has a unique tumblr tag.  Beyond that, things like joining webcomic portals or posting your work on a free host with a big community like smackjeeves, goes a lot for building a fanbase.  Your fanbase won't be huge to start out, but that's fine— even having one or two good fans does a lot to motivate.

You certainly can't find all motivation to do a comic from without, but for me, it's always helped me maintain an interest in long-term projects if I've got someone to watch my back.
