Kaneki was told that there was a new recruit to the Tree, and that she was suppose to work under his group. He didn’t know how he felt about having a new member onto his group, he sort of hated the idea. Since he had to take care of one more person, he didn’t mid it. He just didn’t trust himself, the monster he was deep inside.

 It had been only a week or so since the girl known as "Scarlet", had made an aggressive (and bloody) escape from her lifelong captors, and fleeing to Japan in search of a lost relative, of course, her being from Europe would result in her sticking out like a sore thumb unless a proper disguise was worn, which took the form of a black wig, and brown contacts (Blonde and Blue Eyes would no doubt be seen easily...and if she was spotted whilst hunting, how easy would it be to narrow it down? Not too many blonde people in Tokyo, after all), and of course, with an Alias name, “Akiko Murasaki”...

And, it worked admirably, no one quite asked too much about her, though, of course, because of her harsh training, and her captors adamant attempts to cause her emotions to be numbed or detached, there was simply one thing off about her.

Her behavior...or, rather, lack there of. Be it when she was out in disguise, or conversing with other ghouls calmly, her expressionless face tended to worry people, some call it the "Uncanney Valley", but, she couldn't quite tell...

So, she thought it was high time she got help fixing that...she may not regain her emotions for a long time, but the least she could do is get advice on how to at least pretend have emotions.

And, that's what brought her here. To this "Anteiku" Cafe, a place for both ghouls and humans...but, mostly to help Ghouls who either had not the heart to hunt for themselves, or to simply assist ones that were in trouble.

Walking inside, the girl's head slowly went around the entrance, scanning and seeing if anyone was here that could help... and, upon seeing a family face, she froze, wasting no time in walking towards them.

If she recalled right, this one was named "Satomi"...another ghoul she had met shortly after arriving, it was...well, a surprise to see her again, she hadn't expected to meet them again so soon.

So, walking towards her, 'Akiko" stood still, looking at her compatriot with an expressionless gaze.
