  Last year, when we started designing a set of nested tables, we wanted to make it different so they won’t just be the same table of different sizes. So an idea emerged, possibly inspired by the great “stripes” legacy in the UK from Bridget Riley, the artist, to Paul Smith, the fashion designer. So we had three tables of different colors, each supported by its own random vertical stripes. When nested together, they combine to form a colorful and interesting striped pattern on each side.
